'Girls who receive an education
are more empowered,
better prepared to protect themselves
against violence, abuse, exploitation,
TRAFFICKING
and less vulnerable to disease’

Human trafficking is to be recruited, deceived and made to work.  Many victims are forced into the sex industry so it is not surprising most victims are girls and young women.

Too many trafficked girls have not had a proper education leaving them more vulnerable to the lies and false promises of traffickers.

Education and training means choice.
Choice means freedom.

Tanzania »

Provide shelter, vocational training, and jobs for girls and women who have been trafficked or live in areas particularly vulnerable to human trafficking.

Typically, girls from rural towns are promised work as cleaners and domestics. Many have to work 18 hours a day and a large number are forced to sell sex in hotels.
