Human trafficking is to be recruited, deceived and made to work. Many victims are forced into the sex industry so it is not surprising most victims are girls and young women.
Too many trafficked girls have not had a proper education leaving them more vulnerable to the lies and false promises of traffickers.
Education and training means choice.
Choice means freedom.
WHAT CAN YOU DO TO HELP?
Raise money by running, walking, jogging, crawling, hobbling or racing on wheels to support the projects below which are in trafficking hot-spots around the world.
By helping a vulnerable girl get an education, you are giving her a freedom ticket for life.

| Thailand » Emergency help and specialist education for vulnerable girls who’ve fled the Burmese dictatorship and are living on the Thai border without access to education and health care. Migrant children and young women make up a large part of the Thai sex industry.

Kyrgyzstan » Help girls living in state orphanages get vocational training and life skills when they leave care but have nowhere to turn and no one to support them. Oasis Kyrgyzstan have seen traffickers recruiting girls directly from orphanges.

Tanzania » Provide shelter, vocational training, and jobs for girls and women who have been trafficked or live in areas particularly vulnerable to human trafficking. Typically, girls from rural towns are promised work as cleaners and domestics. Many have to work 18 hours a day and a large number are forced to sell sex in hotels.

Child Sponsorship » Help a girl through school and into adulthood in a number of trafficking hotspots around the world. Comprehensive care, with education at its heart, will radically reduce the risk of human trafficking.  |
